Meet Your Rumson Softball Cool Cats!

Rumson, NJ - It appears the Borough of Rumson may have caught a case of Cool Cat Fever! After a long off-season, the Rumson Cool Cats took to the diamond in April to begin their Spring 2021 season of greatness. Donning their powder blue uniforms and special wristbands, the Cool Cats have gotten off to a great start and this group of future All-Americans is well on their way!


Go Team!

Led by the brilliant softball mind of Coach Darryn Murphy, the girls have really began to understand the fundamentals of softball. We have seen some excellent defense from Eleanor, Everette, Molly and Beatrice. Meanwhile, Helena, Paige, Ella and Charlotte had really “Stepped Up” at the plate. Fans have also taken notice to the speedy base running of Stella, Claire, Lucy, Reagan and Emma. And there has been consistent all-around softball excellence from Kendall, Elle, Hannah and Maddie.


Fans can barely contain their excitement as the Cool Cats squad begins their game schedule soon with some key match-ups against Little Silver, Shrewsbury and their nearby rivals in Fair Haven.
