Victory Park was the setting for an unforgettable night of music courtesy of some truly talented artists from the RFH community. The idea was the brainchild of music legend and RFH teacher Mr. Zach Lorelli who organized all the action. Future superstar Evan Callas served as the MC, and did so brilliantly, for the evening.

The bar was set very high by the early performers, which included some memorable renditions by Gemma Formisano, Evan Callas, Katie Shapiro and Georgia Watt. Each of these performance left the crowd excited and clamoring for more music!

The mood chilled somewhat with a well-delivered performance by the quartet of artists from the Jazz Arts Project, a Red Bank-based non profit that Lorelli has done incredible work with over the years.

Following their soft, smooth sound, the intensity (along with the volume) got cranked up a few notches. Her House, a throwback foursome from RFH brought the house down with some covers of Nirvana and Verruca Salt followed by some brilliant originals. Their stage presence was akin to seasoned rock stars and their large group of loyal fans certainly responded.

Closing out the evening’s festivities was a well-received performance by RFH alumni Ham By The Pound who lifted the spirits of the 250 spectators as nightfall arrived.

Overall, it was a variety park of top-notch entertainment and our performers certainly did not disappoint. The audience was in awe of the talent in front on them on the Victory Park gazebo stage. Hats off to all the fans who came out to support this truly gifted group of young artists. Perhaps Mr Lorelli will be taking this group on a 25 city International tour sometime soon!
