Lehigh University Soccer Trains With Rumson FC

The youth players from Rumson FC were treated to a special event this past Saturday as the Lehigh University Mountain Hawks soccer team descended on the friendly confines of RFHHS fields. The prestigious NCAA squad invited our children to a free clinic to share their expertise and passion for soccer with their younger counterparts. The reception was certainly appreciated as more than 100 RFH youngsters were able to enjoy it.

The event was organized by Rob Esposito, former Lehigh Men’s Soccer standout and current Rumson FC coach. The clinic was part of a busy weekend for the Mountain Hawks, who also enjoyed a pool party, a trip to Val’s, a scrimmage vs Monmouth University, capped off by a camping trip.

The Rumson FC coaches and parents certainly appreciated the student-athletes sharing their time with our players. It was a great experience for the younger players who improved their skills while working with some of the greatest collegiate players in the league.
