Rumson Borough Council Appoints Jeffrey Nixon As Rumson Chief of Police

During the July 11, 2023 Rumson Borough Council, Mayor Hemphill and members of Borough Council passed a resolution appointing Jeffrey S. Nixon as Rumson Chief of Police.


During the meeting, Chief Nixon took the Oath of Office surrounded by family and friends, as well as a number of esteemed leaders of local public service entities throughout Monmouth County.


Please join us in congratulating Chief Nixon and thanking all members of the Rumson Police Department, as well as the emergency service members of the Rumson community.
